A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our BA Finance Team.

Working closely with the Chief Digital & Transformation Officer, Head of Finance and the broader Finance Team, you will be responsible for the financial and business performance support for the line management of the IT, Data, Innovation & Insights departments, whilst driving the business to achieve its financial and business-related targets.

With excellent senior stakeholder exposure across BA and the IAG Group, you will be supporting the team to deliver savings and efficiencies promoting an environment of cost control and efficiency throughout the organisation.

Duties will include –

  • Developing plans and actions with the business to achieve strategy.
  • Leading Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting requirements.
  • Leading supplier cost reduction programmes across all external supplier spend.
  • Ensuring all major business decisions are taken with sufficient understanding of their financial consequences.
  • Responsible for the financial aspect of all BA IT Capital Expenditure
  • Responsible for managing the financials of the BA IT, Data, Insights & Innovation Profit & Loss accounts
  • Active management of associated balance sheets
  • Manage a team of two finance business partners

An Accounting qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) or equivalent, and the ability to both devise and follow through on profit improvement programmes are required for this role.
