With over 30 years in the transport and warehousing industry, McGregor Logistics offers a solution for all general haulage requirements, from full load deliveries, Biomass sourcing and delivering, Pallet Distribution (Palletways), European delivery service, Warehousing and HGV vehicle servicing and repairs.

With its head office based in Doncaster, and operations in Cardiff and Tilbury Docks, McGregor Logistics operates a large and diverse fleet enabling us to provide a reliable and consistent service to our customers.

We now have a vacancy for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join our friendly Palletways team based at Tilbury, preferably for an immediate start.

Role Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of network vehicles
• Movement of product
• General warehousing duties
• Housekeeping

Person Requirements

• In-date Counterbalance FLT licence is mandatory
• Two years Counterbalance experience required
• Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
• Safety conscious ensuring that personal, vehicle and load safety, and that of others, is a key priority.
• Some experience of pallet network operations preferred.
• Pass internal driver assessment if one is required

Hours

• Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota (1 in 4)
• You will be working a set shift of 7am to 5 pm or finish.
• Some flexibility is required to cover the other shift (10 am - 8pm or finish) for sickness, holidays etc.
• Flexibility is required for late finishes on both shifts

• 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

• Rate of pay is £10.50 per hour
