Role Purpose and Key Result Areas
Due to exciting growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Inside Sales/Business Development Manager to join our global software development client. This is a full time permanent position based in London offering flexi working within a supportive and forward thinking team of sales professionals.
The purpose of this role is to generate new sales for products and solutions in a
designated territory, achieving sales targets, generating revenue growth and increased market
share.

This will be achieved by:
  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities;
  • Developing relationships with new customers by identifying their needs and problems in order to promote and sell products and solutions;
  • Following the company sales process without skipping steps
  • May also be required to manage and maintain existing accounts
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates new sales leads through all available channels including (but not limited to) company marketing activities; publicly available sources such as LinkedIn, industry events, referrals, prompt follow-up of inbound calls and partner channels.
  • Develops and maintains strong professional relationships with prospective clients, which includes regular communication.
  • Executes demos and proof of concepts aligned with company sales process and MEDDIC methodology
  • Consistently updates Salesforce and accurately completes the associated MEDDIC fields
  • Actively seeks and asks prospective and existing clients for referrals and introductions for new business opportunities.
  • Builds detailed knowledge of company products and solutions, and the designated territory in which they operate.
  • Communicates regularly with colleagues, management, marketing and other internal teams, keeping them informed on market insights, sales progress and customer feedback.
  • Occasional overnight travel will be required to prospect sites and tradeshows
Qualification/Experience Preferred
Education:
  • University/College degree in a relevant field

Experience:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales success in information technology sales
  • Oracle or other ERP related software sales experience.

Technical/Functional Expertise:
  • Excellent spoken and written communication
