We’re re-inventing our architecture team here at Aldermore and have a unique opportunity for a Lead CRM Architect to join us at an exciting time in our evolution. Our architecture team sits within our CTO function, providing architecture services across the whole business. Working closely with the Platform Teams, Product Lines and Business Areas, our mission is to help to enable the business to deliver for our customers through effective technology architecture.

The role of Lead CRM Architect is pivotal as Aldermore embarks on a journey to be digital and increasingly adopts cloud-based solutions. You’ll be aligned to our Apollo Programme; one of the most significant change programmes our business has undergone. Apollo will enable the group’s strategic objectives by delivering a new, modern & progressive cloud-based banking platform that utilises data as an asset to help build a better tomo
rrow for our Customer, Colleagues and Shareholders.

What would your day look like?

  • Shape and define Aldermore’s relationship management capability with a 3-5 year planning horizon
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture and Product Owners to articulate the strategy for Aldermore’s technology estate strategy with cloud and on-prem solutions, which entails the following duties: requirements gathering, design, and proof of concept execution
  • Utilize industry knowledge to drive innovation and shape roadmaps for future state capabilities
  • Clearly articulate best practices, design patterns and recommendations to Product Teams and business sponsors. Design vertical specific reusable assets that will streamline the development process
  • Work collaboratively with other solution architects to provide a consensus based scalable and adaptable architectural solution including peer review of solution architecture deliverables. Presents and evaluates project designs at a technology governance forum to ensure architectural and strategic fit

What do we expect of you?

  • Previous experience leading architecture activities for a large-scale CRM implementation
  • Significant architecture experience where you’ve led on architecture & design activities within programmes and projects of work
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to adapt verbal and written communication style to different audiences
  • Strong influencer, with demonstrable experience building consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • A collaborative approach across the wider architecture teams, ensuring solutions are scalable and adaptable. Welcomes peer reviews of solution architecture deliverables
  • Passionate about identifying opportunities for innovation
  • A strong customer focus, with proven ability to understand business priorities and align with technology roadmaps
  • Proven ability to solve problems and cut through complexity
  • Strong relationship building skills, able to build trust and instil confidence with stakeholders
