Legal Assistant / Administrator / Paralegal with strong communication and customer service / client care skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage their own busy workload is required for a well-established and expanding Solicitors based in North Somerset and Bristol.
SALARY: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) + Benefits
LOCATION: Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Yatton or surrounding area (Candidates MUST live within a 30 minute commute to either location) – This is an Office Based role
JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-Time
WORKING HOURS: Monday-Friday 9:00-17:15 and Saturdays 9:00-13:00 to cover annual leave when required up to 4 times a year

Working as a Legal Assistant / Administrator / Paralegal you will be integral to the success of the business, providing Lawyers with essential and pro-active administrative support.
As a Legal Assistant / Administrator / Paralegal you will experience a high volume of administrative tasks and in return will benefit from working alongside a friendly and supportive team, assisting the Partners.
As a successful candidate you will ideally have previous experience working for a firm of solicitors providing high volume legal administrative support.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Your duties as a Legal Assistant / Administrator / Paralegal will require the following skills and attributes:
Ideally have recent knowledge and experience working within a busy department in a local high street solicitors practice
Have strong communication and client care skills to ensure clients receive an efficient, reliable and friendly service over the telephone, in written correspondence and face to face
Demonstrate initiative and be flexible and proactive in their support to the department and the wider office team
Be a team player but also be able to work autonomously
Maintain electronic and physical files so they remain up to date
Have the ability to manage their own workload, whilst maintaining attention to detail and have excellent typing skills
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Digital Dictation
Be passionate about law and have a strong work ethic
