We’re looking for an Application Performance Monitoring Specialist to join our Tech Services function. It is important to be able to provide a complete picture of service and performance across our digital and ecommerce platforms to ensure stability and availability – this position is therefore responsible for ensuring application monitoring standards, governance and new demands are met and adhered to across Group Technology and the Kingfisher banners (our retail brands).
What's the job?:
  • Help in the delivery of monitoring maturity levels for each Kingfisher banner that aligns to the monitoring strategy
  • Implement the design & delivery of new demand from projects
  • Promote collaboration across multiple teams using Group Technology strategic tooling
  • Analyze trends, faults & data meaningfully and communicate effectively to all stakeholders
  • Analyse customer experience and satisfaction across our digital & ecommerce platforms
  • Identify revenue impacting issues, making recommendations to prevent or grow revenue
  • Provide on-call support, out of hours, on a rota basis
What we need::
  • Understanding of APM (Application Performance Monitoring) and DEM (Digital Experience Monitoring) across digital & ecommerce platforms and technologies
  • Programming experience in core languages such as Shell, Python and ASP, JAVA, etc
  • Basic competency or experience in User Behaviour Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Proven track record of driving service excellence and service improvements, whilst working to challenging timescales
  • Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and translate into technical requirements
