The nursery is located at 29 High Street, Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, SL9 9QE, in the heart of this vibrant village. Our beautifully renovated character building has plenty to offer the children indoors and in our extensive outdoor areas. Our team have a wonderful staff area away from the nursery rooms and with a dedicated kitchen fully stocked with drinks, snacks and the occasional treat. The extensive amenities of the village are on our doorstep with cafes, shops, beauty salons and a lovely park close by.

Experience / Qualifications - What you’ll bring to the role:

• Full & Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3+).
• Knowledgeable in areas relating to EYFS, SEN, CIN & CP.
• Previous experience, shaping little lives & building positive partnerships with families, external parties and colleagues alike.
• Great communication skills, including the ability to understand babble
• A sense of humour which allows you to see the silver lining of every situation and have fun each and every day.
• A team player with the ability to be flexible to the needs of the children and the team, with experience of leading a team.
• A passion for a play based approach to children’s learning and development
• Commitment – even to reach the end of that story that has been interrupted 5 times
• Patience, passion, and the desire to ensure all children achieve their full potential regardless of their starting point – That’s why we do what we do, right!?

Key Information:

• Standard working hours are 40 hrs per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday, around the current shift system.

• Caterpillar Flexible Working Option:

You will have the option to work your 40 hrs over 4 days, giving you an extra day off each week. Time off is essential to retain your motivation, enthusiasm and a great work life balance.
