Job Description

Flexible Nursery Practitioner - Early Years Educator

Un-qualified upto £10.65 per hour (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

Level 2 upto £11.30 per hour (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

Level 3 upto £11.95 per hour (Dependent on experience and qualifications)



Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner - Early Years Educator? Looking for a 0 hours contract / Bank worker position to fit flexibly around you? If so, we would love you to join us and become part of our Hungry Caterpillar Bank Team. When working in our nurseries, you’ll have the opportunity to bring fun, joy, smiles and laughter to the children whilst providing safe, high quality education, care and positive outcomes for each child. It is the nature of working in a nursery that tasks and responsibilities are on occasion unpredictable and varied, so you’ll to be flexible and undertake reasonable duties as necessary.

The nursery is located at 25a Laurel Gardens, Hanwell, W7 3JG, within Hanwell Children’s Centre, but with its own secure and separate entrance. The nursery is located just off the Uxbridge Road in Hanwell Broadway, ideal for local bus routes and with access to lots of local amenities. The nursery offers fantastic resources, large and wonderful gardens and dedicated team that ensure children leave fully prepared for their adventure ahead



Experience / Qualifications - What you will bring to the role:

  • Full & Relevant Early Years Childcare Qualification (for the Qualified posts)
  • Good communication skills, patience & passion, enabling you to build effective & lasting relationships that will reward you with love, pride & a sense of achievement you won’t find in other roles!
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Friendly and flexible with a sense of humour which allows you to see the silver lining of every situation and have fun each and every day
  • Current Food Hygiene/First Aid certificates and previous experience working with young children would be desirable.
