Occupational Therapist – Male Mental Health

20 bedded male rehab service based in Bacup.

The Service: Located in Bacup, Pine House is a 20 bed community facing purpose built hospital for men aged 18 years and above with complex mental health needs due to mental illness and/or acquired brain injury. The service will provide an holistic approach to recovery from mental illness whilst maximising potential and promoting independence.
We strive to provide a supportive and therapeutic environment to enable each of the males in our care to achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery and fulfil her individual potential to the maximum extent. We help them make positive change in their lives and to gain greater independence, long-term mental well-being and successful reintegration into their community at their earliest opportunity.
Job Summary:
The post holder will be expected to work within the multidisciplinary team, managing a defined caseload of service users providing core occupational therapy assessments and interventions that enables individuals to work towards recovery, a valued lifestyle and aim for optimum level of functional ability
About you:
As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will be joining a newly formed team within our new service due to open very soon!
You will be working within a male 20 bedded rehabilitation hospital that supports service users with MH & ABI.
You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
With a strong emphasis on teamwork, youll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you reach your career goals.
To be successful in this role:
At least 12 months experiences of working in mental health settings.
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
HPC Registration.

Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply. In addition to the pay stated, you will receive a shift premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00. This will
