Sales Ledger Supervisor

An experienced Sales Ledger Supervisor is required to join our client's growing international business.

You will be working closely with the Financial Controller in ensuring that debt is kept to a minimum and ledgers are up to date.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervisor/mentor to a team of two - Credit Controller and Cashier.
Accurate allocation of customer payments and reconciliations.
Dealing with, negotiating and resolving escalated issues.
Building strong relationships with business to business customers.
Processing contras, levies and journals.
Releasing held orders on a timely basis in accordance with sales ledger processes.
Updating comments and reporting on aged debts.
Monitoring of customer credit limits and setting up new customers.
Safeguarding the company's exposure to bad debts.
Month end reporting and annual audit records.

You should have excellent sales ledger and credit control experience, ideally 5 years plus, a proven record of hitting KPIs and reducing debtor days as well as supervisory experience.
