Due to continued success and rapid growth, Southbourne Rubber are looking for a Sales Support Apprentice to join our team in Waterlooville.

This role is working 37 hours per week, between 8am and 5pm Monday to Thursdays and 8am to 1pm on a Friday.

What will you be doing?

As our Sales Support Apprentice, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Input data for sales figures, quotations, bill of materials and orders within the organisations ERP system (SAP).
  • Answering incoming phone calls.
  • Creating and processing quotations in a timely manner for submission to customer.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with customers.
  • Attending conferences, exhibitions and customer meetings to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends and programmes.
  • Input and analyse data within the organisations CRM system.
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
  • Collaborating with other departments and within the sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met.
  • Answering customer enquiries, scheduling meetings and following up with customers about their order status.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
  • Organise samples and marketing materials to be sent to customers.
  • Pricing opportunities accurately and in line with the companies desired profit margins.
  • Handling administrative duties for the company and its executives and management teams.
  • Ensuring all customer and supplier information is up to date.
  • Assist with colleague activities in times of need e.g illness & holiday etc.

  • A proficient level of English and Mathematics.
