What you’ll do
As The Technical Lead you will be responsible for day-to-day effective running of operations and fault activity. Also responsible for the workflow management to ensure all the BAU routines & project tasks have been completed within the deadlines.
There will also be an opportunity to stand in for the Manager as and when required. For projects, Technical Lead (PTL) will work with the Programmes & Projects team, Engineering Team, Customers, and third-party contractors to prepare ready for installation, commissioning and integration of products and services.
Who you are
For this role we are looking for the following skills and attributes :
Experience within telecommunications industry advantageous
Cisco certification or relevant technical skills
Previous data network background with experience of large-scale networks and related WAN/LAN technologies including, but not limited to TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF. Telephony, Legacy Telecoms, and IP Data LAN/WAN/MAN etc.
Great Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers
Understanding of security implications and application.
Able to demonstrate understanding of enterprise network tools.
Ability to use Microsoft Offices packages to a good level (Inc. Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Visio
Full, UK driving licence.
Although remote working you will be expected to travel to client sites
