We have a new and unique role as a Built Environment Project Officer. The aim of this post is to for someone to support our building teams by revising AutoCAD drawings, to populate our property management system with all information available and to develop an archive system for our historic papers.

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Contract and location: The role is a project post for 2 years, based at some historic scenic locations from any of our North Hubs- York, Newcastle, Altrincham or Grasmere - along with some hybrid working

What it's like to work here:Reporting to a Senior Building Surveyor you'll support the North Building Surveyors as part of the regional consultancy ‘Looking After’ Teams. The Looking After team is home to specialists in the conservation of buildings and collections. We work collaboratively with our property teams to ensure the important buildings and collections of the National Trust are maintained for generations to come. We are a collaborative, flexible and pragmatic team. This proactive team is shaping success by imbedding new ways of working and who value each persons contribution to this. They recognise the need and value of this role.
What you'll be doing:You'll work with building related drawings; to format, amend and revise in AutoCAD
Work with our 10 year plan currently in excel sheet format combine the data and feed this into out property management system HORIZON
Take our historic drawings and to create a professional archive system with SHAREPOINT
Data management and maintenance of our Contractors in Excel
Establish good working relationship with others
Be alert to opportunities to plan better, and drive efficiencies for the future.
