We are currently seeking a Night Shift Team Leader for our well established Food Retailer based in West Bromwich. The successful candidate will be accountable for assisting Shift Manager in the day to day running of the warehouse operation.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 19:00PM-02:00AM/04:00AM (Dependant on requirements)

Rate of Pay:

£11.80 per hour + 20% shift allowance for first 12 weeks and then £12.25 per hour + 20% shift allowance thereafter.

Responsibilties:

• Ensure daily orders are despatched sticking to tight collection slots.
• Overlooking the receiving in and despatching of weekly orders.
• Daily stock taking.
• Liaising with Management and agencies to cover absence and holiday.
• To complete managerial tasks in the absence of shift manager.
• Capable of operating with minimal supervision within broad guidelines.
• To manage/supervise warehouse staff attendance and breaks.
• Ensuring issues are reported to site management.
• Ensure all mechanical handling equipment is operated by suitably trained operators and pre-use checks are completed prior to use, and paperwork is completed and filed in a professional and timely manner.
• To manage/supervise the unloading, storage and loading of pallets ensuring that operational procedures are followed.

Experience and Skills:

• Good level of commitment and motivation.
• Counterbalance FLT license highly preferable.
• Must be flexible as finish time can change.
• Time efficient.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
