My client

A well-established housing association looking for a business analyst ideally with a background in social housing or property, who will work alongside developers, testers, product owners and user acceptance teams in an Agile / Scrum environment.

Your role-

• Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills and this role will play an integral role in ensuring requirements are aligned to the overall business strategy and goals
• Documenting/ redesigning business processes using Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN), conduct gap analysis and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Gathering requirements which are well thought out and clearly articulated, in the form of user stories use cases, UML with associated acceptance criteria.
• Deliver analysis services which are comprehensive, timely and signed-off by the customer.
• Ensure requirements are produced in a timely manner, approved and signed off by Programme Architecture Board and Product Owner before taken into a delivery cycle.
• Ensure solutions are tested and signed off against agreed acceptance criteria prior to deployment and controlled handovers which are achieved in conjunction with relevant IT delivery and support teams.

To be successful you will have -

• Strong, multi-organisation experience as a Business Analyst, with skills in business process, systems and data analysis, modelling and the production of high-quality written documentation.
• Significant experience eliciting and managing software requirements as part of a delivery team & experience building relationships with stakeholders and managing their expectations.
• Understanding of scrum framework and agile methodologies, with a consultative approach to your work and agile development experience
• The ability to drive and challenge business users and delivery teams in the specification, design and delivery of fit for purpose solutions.
• A persuasive, articulate communicator with a passion for delivery, who can communicate business analysis concepts and related matters to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills - service orientation, collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills, situational awareness and conflict resolution
