About the role

We are recruiting for a Senior Administrator to join our small, friendly team. The role primarily supports the Educational Psychology and SEND Specialist Support Services that offer support to children with special needs and disabilities.

We’re looking for someone who has great organisational skills, has the ability to use their own initiative and enjoy working within a team.


What will you be doing?

The role is varied but you will have direct responsibility for allocations, referrals and Service Level Agreements, as well as being a lead in the administration of various training events held either face to face or by Teams. These include parental workshops and training for school staff. You will be responsible for mentoring staff members and developing team processes. You will often be the first point of contact for parents, schools and other teams within West Northants Council.

The role also involves ordering resources and keeping accurate records of purchases.

About you

You will be adaptable and someone who enjoys working within a team and is happy to offer support in other areas when needed.

You will need to remain calm under pressure and be able to prioritise work successfully.

You will need excellent communication skills and be able to deal effectively with a wide range of enquiries ensuring confidentiality at all times.
