The home is based in Alvaston and specialises in care for young adults with learning disabilities, autism and metal heath conditions.

Duties include:
– Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
– General housekeeping and domestic duties
– Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intakes
– Helping patients remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
– Assisting with daily living activities including morning and night-time routines
– Working alongside support workers and care works to provide a complex care package tailored to individual needs
– Toileting/bed bathing and strip washing the service users

Hourly Rate: As a support worker you will be paid: £10.50 per hour for week days £11 per hour for week nights £11 per hour for weekend days £11.50 per hour for weekend nights

Working Hours: Typical hours will be: Long day 08:00-20:00 Early 08:00-14:00 Late 14:00-22:00 Night 20:00-08:00

To demonstrate your suitability for the role for a Support Worker, you will need:

– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

Due to the location of the home, it is recommended that you have your own transport.
