Warehouse Coordinator
Lowestoft
Full Time – Permanent

Purpose of Role
To service delivery of the receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods
To efficiently deal with goods and products that come into the warehouse including; checking and reporting on damaged or missing items, moving stock around by hand or using forklift truck, picking and packing orders and keeping the paperwork up to date
Ensuring the warehouse environment is organised and efficient, clean and tidy, safe and happy
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately and all OTIF targets are met
- Liaise with transport companies as needed
- Daily loading of lorries and vans using the forklift where required
- Stock management: book in stock, stock checks, checking and reporting damaged or missing items
- Ensure suitable stock levels and appropriately stored stock
- Ensure stock levels are accurate and any parts taken are correctly recorded on the system
- Undertake a rolling stocktake on all parts and stock
- Palletising and wrapping all vehicles for despatch
- Manage parts and ensure acceptable quantities in Sage
- Ensure all packages are packed to ensure no damages occur in transit and so they give a great first (and second)impression – no dust, scratches etc.
- Arrange cost effective carrier collections as required, ensuring same day dispatch
- Carry out various required checks including forklift daily pre-usage checks, and warehouse visual racking checks
- General housekeeping and maintenance in the warehouse/on site and ordering of warehouse supplies
- Maintain accurate records on the dispatch system
- Ensure and maintain a tidy, clean, and organised warehouse and yard at all times
- Unload incoming containers and curtain-siders
- Prepare incoming parts into kits, including any necessary adaptations to some components ensuring all kit boxes are complete with all components
- Manage the Scooterpac fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are all serviced, taxed, MOT’d, legal, clean and presentable
- Carry out monthly “fleet checks” on all company vehicles
- Building back boxes, mirrors and other parts for dispatch
- Checking stock of mirrors and re-ordering painted ones to keep correct stock levels
- Booking in and testing of warranty items and updating the warranty spreadsheet accordingly
- Stripping parts and spares for dispatch or collection
- Building vehicles in-house for dispatch or collection
- Local deliveries and collections as required
- Booking in cardboard runs and the emptying of skip as required
- Delivery/collection, loading/unloading (East Coast Mobility)
- Unlocking/locking and setting alarm in the Dispatch area each day
- Hold to the Company Vision and Values at all times
- To have an awareness and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
- To have an extensive knowledge of the company, its aims, objectives, and its strategic direction
